A Liminal Space explored the idea of love as something that exists in transition, in the spaces between beginnings and endings. The story follows a couple from their first meeting at a bar to the quiet acceptance of their breakup, tracing the journey of a relationship without dramatic confrontations or raised voices. Instead, it finds beauty in mutual understanding and the gentle acceptance that some stories simply reach their natural end.

As a production designer, the idea of liminality became the foundation for every creative decision. The spaces needed to feel emotionally suspended, neither entirely warm nor distant, reflecting the shifting nature of the relationship as it evolved. Although it was a quick project with significant budget constraints, it was one that demanded constant resourcefulness and adaptability.

It reminded me that meaningful design isn't always about scale or resources, but about finding clarity within limitations. Beyond the film itself, one of the things I treasure most is the people I met along the way. The friendships that grew from this project have stayed with me long after filming wrapped.
